I pumped for 6 months with all 3 of my children. The second one ended up in the emergency room with croup at 4 months, long before he saw a drop of formula, and had 2 ear infections on breast milk as well.

As hot as it was, the weather could have been a LOT worse, and has been in past years. I was there all three days. It was always cool by the evening, and Sunday was great with a nice breeze.

Most of the bands play all the venues, not just the pay ones. The free stage at the Elkhart Jazz Festival was great this year - most of the top performers were there at some point. Quit whining and get out and listen to the music next time!
Cancer deaths not deterred by prostate tests

My father was diagnosed with end stage, advanced metastatic prostate cancer in January. He never had a screening test. By the time they finally tested, the cancer had invaded essentially every bone in his body and all of his lymph nodes. I certainly wish they had tested him.
