- As hot as it was, the weather could have been a LOT worse, and has been in past years. I was there all three days. It was always cool by the evening, and Sunday was great with a nice breeze.
It may be hot, but Jazz Festival is way cool

- Most of the bands play all the venues, not just the pay ones. The free stage at the Elkhart Jazz Festival was great this year - most of the top performers were there at some point. Quit whining and get out and listen to the music next time!
Cancer deaths not deterred by prostate tests

- My father was diagnosed with end stage, advanced metastatic prostate cancer in January. He never had a screening test. By the time they finally tested, the cancer had invaded essentially every bone in his body and all of his lymph nodes. I certainly wish they had tested him.
